Stablecoins are a type of cryptocurrency whose value is directly linked to another currency such as US Dollars or Euros. With transaction volumes growing to over $450B a month.
We use a tried and trusted technology called Multi-party computational (MPC). MPC splits a private key into “key shares” that can be distributed across multiple physical devices, so a hacker cannot obtain the entire key by compromising a single device.
Staking is a process in which token holders can earn rewards by helping to secure a blockchain network. It differs from earning a yield as there is no lending risk associated.
Tokenization is your debit card being available on your phone through apple pay or google pay. It is the process of turning a physical asset such as Gold, U.S treasury bills or real estate into digital form. It makes an assets ownership provable, tradable 24/7 and in fractional form.

How do you keep my asset secure?
We use technology called Multi-Party Computation (MPC). With MPC, the corresponding private key shares are created and encrypted in isolated Secure Hardware Enclaves across multiple cloud centers. To sign transactions, the key shares are used to perform multiple rounds of computation all without ever being brought into the same environment. Because of this, MPC eliminates the single point of compromise of private key creation and signing.
This is then backed-up with a broad scope of insurance coverage for Technology, Cyber and Professional Liability provided by Fireblocks (our custody infrastructure partner) with a coverage of up to $30M of loss of funds.
What are the fees?
There are no account opening fees, no monthly fees, nor custody fees for having an account with Atlas. On & off-ramping and conversions include a 1% brokerage fee.
